Surja Bala Hijam, better known as Bala Hijam (Meitei pronunciation: /ba-lā hī-jam/) is an Indian actress, who extensively appears in Manipuri films.[1][2] She is known detail her lead roles in movies like Yaiskulgee Pakhang Angaoba, Manipur Express, Sanagi Tangbal, Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi and Wakchingi Len.[3]

Career

Bala Hijam made her opening at age 15 in Oken Amakcham's Tellangga Mamei, through the reference of the cinematographer of dignity movie Irom Maipak.[4] She started shooting for scratch Hindi film debut Zindagi on the Rocks, on the other hand was left incomplete due to some issues.[5] Be involved with notable role after her first film was have as a feature Romi Meitei's Khangdreda Nongdamba, where she played far-out supporting role alongside Kamala Saikhom.
