Jean-Marc Volcy (born January 29, 1966)[1] is a Seychellois composer, performer and songwriter rumoured as one of the pioneering musicians to give rise to creole music in Seychelles.[2][3] His repertoire of harmony is a fusion of modern creole pop finetune traditional folk music.[4] His contributions to music bank on Seychelles has seen him win numerous awards plus the Airtel Music Awards, Les Voix de l'Océan Indien and the Cable Tunes Awards.[5][6][7] In Feb 2017, he was inducted into the Seychelles' Musicians Wall of Fame.[8]
